SP Has Even Abandoned Its Yadav Workers, Says Rajbhar

Targets Akhilesh Yadav over alleged assault on booth president Rahul Yadav in Azamgarh

Says Akhilesh has forgotten the difference between right and wrong in his “love for Muslims”

Rajbhar claims the Yadav community is watching and will respond to the SP in the Assembly elections

Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) president and Cabinet Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar has launched a sharp attack on Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav, alleging that Yadav workers are being neglected within the party.

Raising the alleged assault on SP booth president Rahul Yadav in Azamgarh, Rajbhar said that party workers who have spent years carrying the SP flag and banner and working at the grassroots level are now being abandoned by the party leadership.

In a social media post written in Bhojpuri, Rajbhar alleged that Rahul Yadav’s only “mistake” was that he supported another party leader instead of SP MLA Nafees Ahmed. He alleged that Rahul Yadav was beaten in broad daylight because of this. Despite the incident, Rajbhar claimed, Akhilesh Yadav has maintained silence on the matter.

Rajbhar accused Akhilesh Yadav of favouritism towards Muslim leaders and alleged that, in his “love for Muslims,” the SP president has lost sight of the difference between right and wrong. He said that the very Yadav community and grassroots workers whom the SP has traditionally considered its strong base are now being denied respect and security.

According to Rajbhar, the issue is not merely about the alleged assault on one worker but also raises questions about the respect accorded to party workers within the SP. He said that if a booth president can allegedly be treated in such a manner, the situation of ordinary party workers can well be understood.

Referring to the upcoming Assembly elections, Rajbhar claimed that the Yadav community across Uttar Pradesh is watching and understanding these developments. He particularly claimed that the Yadav community in Azamgarh is ready to respond through the ballot box.

Taking a dig at Akhilesh Yadav, Rajbhar said that the SP president should at least stand by those workers who have spent years carrying the party’s flag. He claimed that the alleged neglect of party workers would be accounted for in the elections.
